1. Is the CaneAssist really free?
Yes. If you encounter a representative when out and about, they will probably ask you if you would like one installed on your cane or staff.
If you see them first, just say, Howdy!, ask if you can get a CaneAssit accessory. They will provide and install one on the spot!
2. How can you afford to give them away?
It just seems like a nice thing to do. The intent is to spread a little kindness in such a way that helps folks at the same time.Â
3. Where did this idea come from?
From frustration of dealing with a cane falling over every time it was parked, trying to find a good way to manage the cane when sitting in a restaurant, a table, in a waiting room, or needing a handy way to hold a cane when a free hand is needed. I suppose the idea was born out of necessity and it needed to be shared. Â
